A big gathering of regens during EthCC 2024

about the event

The Regen Village Brussels

The Commons Hub will be your regenerative go-to place.

Regen Village, a 5-day experience from July 8th - 12th, is set at a stunning multi-story venue, conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the EthCC main venue. This is prime real estate at a time when quality venues for side/sub-events are running out quickly.

The experience involves:

  • weeklong access to the Commons Hub, the regen basecamp during the week for co-working, meetings and chill out (yes there will be coffee, tea, drinks throughout the day :-))
  • access to a curated telegram group with fellow regens, where there will be a space for self organising with local stewards to facilitate that process) + several other community building experiences and experiments
  • events with panel discussions, workshops and a curated programme in partnership with other regenerative projects (full day, half day or evening)
  • an amazing afterparty at a unique location in the city on Friday

This unique experience, spearheaded by Regens Unite and DAO Brussels alongside partners (like you, reach out!), is designed to showcase crypto and frontier tech as regenerative tools for humanity and our earth through a series of daily sub-events, each curated by different aligned partners. For hundreds of the top regens, innovators, and community builders, Regen Village will be their home base for deeper connections and conversations during EthCC.

The venue is not just some randomly selected location. Commons Hub Brussels it’s a brand new permanent hub for regens to work, co-create and convene, right in the heart of the city of Brussels, the capital of Europe. Becoming a part of Regen Village would mean supporting the establishment of the Commons Hub Brussels.

Do you want to join?

Regen Village promises to be a pivotal space for exploring how web3 can help us create a more regenerative future.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of a transformative experience, just 2 mins away from the main EthCC venue.

For further inquiries or to secure your partnership, please contact us immediately on Telegram

You can also show your interest in joining by filling out the form here.

Based on the partnership offerings (reach out!), the team will weave together a weeklong co-created programme that represents the full diversity of initiatives working on regenerative topics - whether that is tech or non tech, local or global, tooling or weaving communities, mindfulness or philosophy, researchers or builders. We curate for diversity, gender and age balance, and favour interactive sessions over long presentations.

The GOAL of Regen Village is to create opportunities and connections

Our gatherings are designed to strengthen the relational tissue between common goods, climate action, technologists, artists, facilitators and care takers.

This village will be designed to help us:

  • reconnect, build community and weave a stronger network
  • cross-pollinate, learn from each other and support each other by sharing knowledge and experience in an interactive way. No-one knows as much as everyone.
  • regen, rejuvenate and recharge. We recognise having fun, movement, action and doing, as much as finding stillness, reflection and being to regenerate and connect to life.
  • embrace our differences and move beyond judgement. Diversity is a crucial aspect of a healthy ecosystem. We choose curiosity over judgement.
  • contribute to creating and (re)telling stories of regeneration, shared responsibility and kinship. We are all crew. We all have a role in the story and we are conscious of our impact.
